Tenku No Kamasato is located in the mountain valley of Toho Village, Fukuoka Prefecture, in an area where Koishiwara ware kilns are scattered across the highlands (within the Koishiwara Ware Traditional Industry Hall), and is a place where you can experience pottery culture while looking out at the magnificent scenery that unfolds below. On misty mornings or in the clear air, you can tour kilns that continue to use traditional techniques such as brush marks and flying planes, and experience the charm of pottery created from clay and fire. Thie Tenku No Kamasato allows you to experience with all five senses the rustic yet powerful world of Koishiwara ware, born in an environment that coexists with nature.
